Upcoming Shows and Presentations
Here’s our schedule for the next few months, if you are in Boston, San Jose, or San Francisco come on by and see us! It can be lonely out there on the road, and we’d love to see a friendly face.
We leave for Boston tomorrow for SIGGRAPH, where we’ll show the Platforms 001 sandal as part of “Unravel” (http://www.siggraph.org/s2006/unravel), the SIGGRAPH fashion show.
ISEA is next, we’re heading to San Jose the following week Aug. 8-14 (http://01sj.org/content/blogcategory/137/146/). Our presentation is Aug. 9 at 2:30pm.
While we’re out there, we’ve been invited to give a talk at the Center for Sex & Culture in San Francisco (http://www.sexandculture.org), date and time TBD, and do some user testing for the shoes with the St. James Infirmary (http://www.stjamesinfirmary.org). Congratulations to Melissa Gira, who has just been hired as their Development Coordinator.
In September we are showing the shoe at WIRED magazine’s NextFest, Sept. 28-Oct. 1, (http://www.nextfest.net/community/exhibitors.php), and in November we are scheduled to show the shoe in Norway in an exhibition called Interface and Society (http://anart.no/projects/interface-and-society/).
